The PTSA is looking for a volunteer willing to do 3-4 hours worth of data entry sometime between now and May 24, 2018. Reliable internet access and a computer/laptop are a must. Experience using Google calendars is helpful, but not required. Send an email to info@emeraldparkptsa.org if you are interested in helping.
This email was just sent to all parents at Emerald Park regarding the retirement of Principal Ficken at the end of this school year. As a PTSA we strongly encourage you to take the time to fill out the survey mentioned by Dr. Borishad. If you would like to serve on the interview committee, please email Matthew.Gerard@kent.k12.wa.us

We value your input and would like to make sure that it is considered in the process. Please make sure to complete the survey by Thursday, April 19th by 4:30pm. Also, if you are interested in serving on the interview committee, please forward your name to Matt Gerard in HR and we will work collaboratively to ensure that your voices are heard. Cut and Paste the below link into your browser: https://www.kent.k12.wa.us/…/…/selectsurvey/TakeSurvey.aspx… Sincerely, Dr. Borishad School Improvement Officer Academics & Innovation Division The weather this time of year can be unpredictable. Today we have sun, but yesterday at pick-up we were experiencing a downpour. No matter the weather, we must work together to navigate the parking lot safely for our children. --NEVER, ever park in the drop off lanes. These lanes are for quick stops (less than 1 minute) for your child to enter/exit your vehicle. --If you need to leave your vehicle for ANY reason, park in a parking spot. This applies before, during, and after school. --Keep the crosswalk in front of the main office clear. Blocking the crosswalk creates an unsafe situation for our safety patrol students and those trying to cross. --Keep your speed in the parking lot under 5 MPH. When it comes to the school parking lot...Be Safe, Act Responsibly, Show Respect, and Exhibit Grit.
